What better way to teach children about responsibility, sportsmanship and other life skills than through riding and competing on an American Paint Horse?

PPHC has a special interest in our young members and we have established a special Junior Paint Horse Club for our members 18 and younger. The PjPHC sponsors activities for our youth members such as beach rides, trips to the American Junior Paint Horse Association National Convention, and team participation in the APHA Youth World Show held in July.

Our youth are motivated through shows, community service projects and awards. We enjoy many activities throughout the year especially getting together and competing at the PPHC shows. Our Youth Advisors for 2010 are Danette Guertin and Chad Crosby

Palmetto Paint Horse Club has established a scholarship fund in memory of Chelsea Lynn Tanner. Chelsea was an active Youth member of PPHC who passed away unexpectedly at only 15 years of age.
Each year a deserving college student will receive a $1000 scholarship.
