Registration & overview

  • Your registration includes a clinic t-shirt and meals for each day you attend:

    • Friday: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks

    • Saturday: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks

    • Sunday: Breakfast

    Water will be available arena-side throughout the clinic.

  • Bundle pricing applies when you register for 4 or more sessions within the same group.

    • 4+ Novice sessions = $250

    • 4+ Advanced sessions = $400

    Once you reach a bundle in one group, you can add sessions from the other group for $50 each.

    Examples:

    • 4 Novice ($250) + 1 Advanced ($50) = $300

    • 4 Advanced ($400) + 2 Novice ($100) = $500

    If you take 4+ sessions in both groups:

    • Novice = $250

    • Advanced = $400

    Bundle pricing does NOT apply to a mix of Novice and Advanced sessions.

    Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a session reaches capacity, registrants will automatically be added to a waitlist.

  • Each participant must complete their own registration form to ensure accurate scheduling, waivers, and communication.

  • Once a session reaches capacity, you will automatically be added to the waitlist when submitting the form.

  • If a spot opens up, you will be contacted and given instructions to confirm your registration and submit payment. You will have a limited time to respond before the spot is offered to the next person.

  • No. Payment is only required once you are confirmed in a session.

LEVELS & SESSION SELECTION

  • Boot Camp novice sessions are designed for riders who are new to a discipline or still building foundational skills.

    • Rider is learning or refining fundamentals and may need guidance or repetition

    • Horse and rider may lack consistency in patterns, transitions, or maneuver execution

    • Suitable for those with limited show experience in the discipline

    • Riders should not be consistently placing at the top level in comparable classes

    • Focus is on education, confidence, and skill development

  • Boot camp advanced sessions are designed for riders who demonstrate consistency, independence, and polish in their discipline.

    • Rider can execute patterns and maneuvers confidently and consistently without assistance

    • Horse and rider show control, precision, and readiness for competition-level performance

    • Rider has prior show experience and/or has been competitive in similar classes

    • Suitable for those preparing for or actively competing at a higher level

  • Walk/Trot riders will typically participate in the Novice group, unless they demonstrate advanced-level consistency and request placement in the Advanced group.

  • Yes. You may select sessions across disciplines (ranch, trail, showmanship, horsemanship, etc.) as long as you choose the appropriate level for each.

  • Riders are grouped by level (novice or advanced). Clinicians may adjust instruction within sessions to best support each rider and horse.

PAYMENT & POLICIES

  • After completing registration, you will receive an email with your total amount due and payment instructions.

  • If you notice any discrepancies, please contact us at palmettophc@gmail.com so we can review and correct it.

  • Payment must be submitted within 24 hours of registration. Registrations without payment may be considered cancelled and offered to the waitlist.

  • Yes. Spots may be transferred or sold to another rider.
    You must notify us at palmettophc@gmail.com so we can update records and ensure proper waivers are completed.

    • Refunds for registration fees are only available if your spot can be filled from the waitlist

    • Pre-paid stalls, shavings, and RV hookups will be refunded in the event of cancellation

HORSES & PARTICIPATION

  • Yes. Participants may bring and ride multiple horses.

  • Yes, additional horses are allowed.

  • Yes, auditors may bring horses.

  • No. Every horse on the grounds should have a stall with access to water and relief from the heat.

  • Yes. This is a bring-your-own-horse clinic.

  • Yes. The stall chart will be posted prior to the event.

  • No, turnout is not available.

auditors

  • Yes. Auditor fees are $45 per day.

    Wristbands will be provided to auditors.

  • Each participant is allowed one individual to accompany them at no charge. Additional individuals will need to pay the auditor fee.

event logistics

  • Arrival and check-in times will be announced closer to the event.

  • We recommend bringing:

    • Tack and grooming supplies

    • Water buckets and feed

    • Chairs

    • Extension cords (if needed)

    • Fans

    • Coggins

    • Required horse health documentation as required by state law if crossing state lines.

  • The clinic will proceed rain or shine. Any updates will be communicated as needed.

  • Yes, dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times.

  • We aim to stay on schedule, but flexibility may be needed to ensure the best experience for all participants.
