  • Michael Colvin is an AQHA Judge, AQHA Professional Horseman, and World and Congress Champion trainer whose career has helped shape modern all-around competition. With over four decades of experience, he is known for his calm leadership, technical precision, and commitment to developing confident riders and well-rounded horses.

  • Michael began his career in the early 1980s and quickly built a reputation as a standout trainer with a natural ability to teach feel, timing, and rider confidence.

    His program has produced numerous AQHA World Champions, Congress Champions, and NSBA major-title winners, particularly in trail, horsemanship, western riding, and all-around events.

    In addition to training, Michael is a highly sought-after AQHA Judge, regularly selected for premier events including AQHA Level 1 Championships and major regional circuits. He is widely respected for judging that is fair, consistent, and grounded in correct fundamentals.
